Mother x Daughter Guide to Palm Beach

Hi hi! If you are reading this, I am so glad you are here!

I recently went to Palm Beach & it was FUN! I am so excited to share this special place with you all.

With graduation season coming up this May, consider an experience based gift! Trips make the perfect unique graduation present and it allows you to spend time together, too!

Enjoy! & if you try any of these spots, let me know on Instagram over @recruitment. ready !!

If you have been following along on the Recruitment Ready Instagram for a while you know I (Leighton) moved to Palm Beach in 2023 for several weeks! My husband and I worked remote from there and it was truly a dream come true! You can learn more about that trip in a previous blog post!

This picture was taken at The Breakers (a MUST) when visiting Palm Beach!

Since living here, I have come back as many times as I can!! I adore the fashion scene, warm weather and inspiration that is quite literally everywhere!

The weather was fabulous! Linked my outfit here!

We started this trip by checking into our Air B n B and quite literally went straight to stroll Worth Avenue! I love to get moving after a flight and this was the perfect way to do it!

Although we stayed in an Air b n B, I have stayed in various hotels before!

HOTEL SUGGESTIONS BELOW

The Breakers is my personal favorite, but a second fav is The Colony. If you enjoy a boutique hotel experience, The White Elephant is perfect (be sure to check out their sister property in Nantucket, too!)

Although everyone is talking about the new hot pink hotel, The Palm House! ^^

West Palm Beach (super close by) also has a great option called The Ben. Their rooftop views are AMAZING!

There are so many different ways to “do” Palm Beach, but for this post I am going to walk you through our trip day by day so you can “copy and paste!”

DAY 1!

As I mentioned earlier, we went straight to stroll Worth Ave, but I actually forgot to mention we grabbed a quick bite to eat at Field of Greens beforehand. There are multiple locations both on Island and in West Palm. Think acai bowls, YUMMY wraps, salads and coffee. 10/10 recommend!

Alright, now that you have had lunch, it’s time to shop. Window shopping counts, too! Start at the top of Worth Ave and stroll all the way down! Be sure to bop into Lilly Pulitzer, Tiffany’s (because why not), Ralph Lauren and The Real Real!

Super close by you will land upon a Free People store, Julia Amory and adorable home stores. I recommend them all! Why not?!

Since we style girls often here at Recruitment Ready I love to go into as many stores as possible to lay eyes on hot fashion trends. One thing I appreciate about Palm Beach is how classy and timeless the fashion scene is. Considering we are coaching our girls to dress in a “cute, classy, confident” way, the style on the Island fits right in with our approach!

After shopping, we bopped to dinner at Swifty’s! The restaurant is location at The Colony Hotel and it’s AMAZING! It’s so much fun to people watch while dining! Soak it ALL in!

DAY 2!

We woke up and walked, got coffee at Field of Greens (again) then headed to Kip’s Bay Show House! If you enjoy interior design and a girl activity, then Kip’s Bay is for you! The Show House benefits The Girls & Boys Club. The home is LOVELY and commissions interior designers from around the country. Find out more about how to attend, here!

I mean DREAMY!

After the house tour, we went to my MOST favorite restaurant that is actually in West Palm Beach….The Hive! You just have to trust me on this one! It’s so cute, so fun, girly and YUMMY! It’s the spot!!!

We shopped (some more) & then went home for an afternoon by the pool! It was relaxing and enjoyable. I can’t wait to read this new book next time I am poolside!

After getting some much needed vitamin D, we went to sushi and then went to the Breakers for dessert! Lola 41 is my favorite for fresh sushi!!

The florals in The Breakers lobby are AMAZING!!!!!! It was a dreamy night of people watching & yummy treats!

The next day I was up and out to fly back to Atlanta! It was a quick trip but so much fun!!!

A girls trip makes a GREAT graduation gift and I hope this post inspires you to make memories together before you are off to college, going through sorority recruitment and experiencing all the *new college life brings! Cheering you on!
